Match Report
TACC won the toss and elected to bat. Fall of three early wickets put TACC immediately on the back-foot. Vikrant and debutant Fenil Patel then stitched together a partnership to put TACC at 51/3 at the first break. Two quick wickets after the break saw TACC struggling again. Stability was brought to the innings by a partnership between Varun and Harsh. Momentum was brouhgt in by some hitting by Jatin, taking the score to 178.

GHCC started in explosive fashion with Moazzam and Mohsin hitting the ball long and hard. Even the fall of Mohsin did not stop Moazzam from smashing the ball to all parts of the ground. A change of pace in the bowling however changed the game completely. Harsh picked up the crucial wicket of Moazzam in 11th over. The old fox Galib got into the act after that picking up two wickets in two balls, spinning GHCC from 87/1 to 89/4. One more wicket to Galib, a run out and a wicket to Harsh sent GHCC to around 100/7. But there was one further twist in the tale.

TACC started dropping catches after this. Two chances went down in first balls of Sumanth's two overs. One was dropped off Harsh's and Galib's. Between all this Paras was caught down the leg side off of Varun's bowling. After this Satta took over. With Panth for support, he started hitting. He managed to face most of the over and rotate strike intelligently. Panth though lost concentration and dragged his feet out in the 24th over to give Galib his 4th wicket.

At this point GHCC needed 39 runs and TACC 1 wicket. Some quiet overs followed. Galib's next over, the 28th of the innings was eventful. Two catches were dropped in the outfield, one went for six and another boundary. This left GHCC needing just 12 runs. Satta hit first two balls of Jatin's next over for boundaries. 4 runs left now. With 2 balls left in over Satta decides to take a single. Kam defended the 5th, but the 6th ball brought the sweet sound of timber, giving TACC victory by 2 runs.

Man of the match: Satta for his lone battle scoring 65NO.

Man of match for TACC: Galib Yousef.
