Match Result : SCCA won the match by 6 wickets and 3 overs to spare.

SCCA won the toss and elected to field.

DCC 191/7 in 30 overs (Ivan - 32, Sanjeeva - 23, Pratik - 41, Shankar - 24, Hari - 22*, Blessington -3/16)

SCCA 192/4 in 27 overs ( Blessington - 35, Zeeshan - 31, Sudhir - 27, Sanjay - 37*, Upendra - 18, Ivan - 2/40)

SCCA was pleasantly surprised to see the cars of the determined pack of DCC players, wheel in to the Church grounds parking lot at 10 am - punctuality! ... a trait that we believe in and respect.

SCCA won the toss and elected to field. DCC's opening pair of Ivan and Rajbal spoke DCC's intention pretty clearly with their bat. While Ivan was creating havoc at one end, Rajbal steadfast his ground on the other. The pair could, however, not sustain past the 6th over. Ivan was dismissed, caught by Zee off of Blessington's first over, for a quick fire 32. Rajbal's patient innings (of 5) came to an end when he was beautifully caught by Sanjay off of Ravi. Sanjeeva (23) , Pratik (41) , Shankar (24) and Hari (22*) ably aided in building DCC's score to 191.

Blessington was the pick of SCCA bowlers claiming the important wickets of Ivan and Pratik, and with figures of 5 overs 16 runs and 3 wickets. Zee also deserves a mention for 1 wicket and 2 catches.

Chasing a fighting total of 192, SCCA opened its innings rather cautiously. Both Blessington and Zee punished the odd bad ball and were successful in keeping the score board ticking at 6 - 6.5 runs per over for the first 10 overs. Blessington was the first to go (for a well made 35), adjudged Leg before off a beautiful delivery from Ivan. Zee soon followed, scooping Murali for a simple catch. Zee added 31 runs. Sudhir (27), Sanjay (37*) and Upendra (18) brought SCCA's victory in 27 overs.

Sanjay (as usual) played a gem of an innings remaining unbeaten at 37. SCCA's opening pair continued its splendid form, generating the much needed 50+ runs first wicket partnership.

The match was played in the best of spirits.
