Report:

It was a hot day. PCC won the toss and decided to bat. PCC started well by scoring 20 off the first two overs, and then the PCC openers departed shortly there after. Kapil and Hussain steadied the innings and played well to take the score to 84/2 by the drinks interval. Soon after the drinks break Hussain was caught by Kashif off the bowling of Arif for a well made 26.

Nauman stepped in and fire works started shortly thereafter. A well settled Kapil and Numan hit 11 sixers between them, and they put on a quickfire 90 run partnership to take the score to 175 by the end of 24th over. Numan was bowled by Salman for 65 & Kapil by Asad for 67. Irfan and Zulfikar with their gusty hits took the score to 216.

KMCC(DCC) started their innings slowly and lost their first wicket in the 3rd over when Fawad was bowled and then Kashif was caught behind off Numan's successive overs.

Muzaffar and Fahumy played well and made 40 each. With the mounting required run rate, they took their chances. Once both the batsman were out, wickets fell at regular intervals, and KMCC ended with 142/9 on the board. Zulfikar was the pick of the bowlers taking 4 for 26. He was ably supported by Numan and Hussain who took 2 wickets each.

PCC were short of a player and KMCC(DCC) graciously offered Umar to play for them, Umar fielded excellently all through the innings, and PCC would like to thank Umar.

Good all round performance by PCC, in a game played with good spirit by both the teams.
