Main Umpire: SCCA Leg Umpire: SCCA

Report:

Once again CLCC showed there team performance. We expected the game to be a long one, since the outfield in Columbia is very fast and it was dry day. SCCA umpires were on the field on time as our team was already on time. CLCC won the toss and elected to field. COCC sent there opener Sanjay and Pranav and they were playing very wisely, batsman were completely set as they didn't lose any any wicket at the end of 7 overs at a score of 26, Abhi started his spell and CLCC's 8th over and as usual gave CLCC a break in a form of Pranav, COCC 8 overs 32 for 1. Abhi gave another break in 9th over score 40 for 2. Next change was Ramesh and he gave break in his first over score 3/48 in 11 overs. Pressure was building on COCC side and here get a 4th wicket in a form of Runout, nice throw from Nishit. Score 12 overs 4/55 that's when Kiran and Raju showed some good batting trying hard to pull COCC out of trouble and put out a fare total for CLCC to chase and they did Raju gave an easy catch to Ani 20th over at a score of 107.

Next wicket was Abhi's 3rd wicket in his last over when Sanjay got caught behind by Shashi, a very low catch taken nicely. Abhi finished his very important spell. Kiran was still there for COCC and to support him joined Paul, Great innings by both of this batsman when tore CLCC apart by scoring runs at a lightening speed. Paul scored brilliant 45 not out and Kiran 67 not out to give COCC a score of 207 in 30 overs. CLCC's Niraj did a great job in fielding at all over the places, good job for team. CLCC's Captain took his team under the shade for some nice Chaas (buttermilk) and made feel everybody relaxed and showed trick how the team can get an easy win. Team was comfortable, as CLCC thought it would be a easy chase if can hold our wickets for sometime by not loosing in early overs. Shashi And Bharat opened the innings for CLCC and in the 3rd over Bharat got unluckily LBW. Well well that was the start CLCC wanted, not good loosing the wicket in 3rd over at a score of 15 when you are chasing 208. Anyway Vice Captain Ashish joined the Captain Shashi, WOW WOW WOW what a innings by both of this players, in no time the score in 19 overs was 135 for loss of 1 wickets, what a partnership. We lost Ashish at his individual score of 57 and the team score 135, a partnership of 120 runs. To join Shashi came Ani the hero of CLCC's Finals last year. As usual he showed his cricket with no trouble at all, and Shashi lost the patience and gave his wicket away at his individual score of 64 a great captains knock by taking CLCC close to victory, it made the total look so small, Shashi opened the innings and got out when team score was 170. CLCC needed only 38 runs to win with a gigantic line of batting still left behind. Abhi joined Ani and took the score to 195 and abhi in hurry to wrap the innings up gave a catch at his quick 16 on boundry. 13 more to win and Chetan joined Ani and finished the innings up wisely without loosing any more wickets, Ani made 28 Not out and Chetan scored 6 runs by scoring the winning run for CLCC the score 4/209 in 27.2 overs. Once again TEAMWORK gave a easy win to CLCC by 6 wickets.
