Main Umpire: PACC Leg Umpire: PACC

Report:

Due to heavy rain on Saturday night it was almost impossible for game to happen at Reedy Creek Park in Charlotte (CCCC Home Field). A very Special thanks again to Rafiq bhai the kind Owner of the Gastonia's Lakhany Field, Due to his kindness this game became possible as we have to go back to CLCC's Home Field at Gastonia where the field was playable.

Also with us the Umpires from PACC and all the members of CCCC traveled back to Gastonia, Toss was won by CLCC and chose to bat. Shashi and Parimal opened the innings as usual. It was not a very good start as we lost our Captain Shashi in the 3rd Over at CLCC's score of 15. Ashish Joined Parimal, runs were coming at an average of almost six per over and we lost Ashish just about when they both look almost set, CLCC 61/2 in 10 overs. Ani joined Parimal, lost Ani when CLCC were 82 and lost Abhi at 99, But Parimal "Rock Solid Triumph" still playing. Awesome batting and mind blowing shots by Parimal tore CCCC apart, When Parimal got out at his Individual score of perfect 100 CLCC were 156/5 in 25 overs. Now it was Gopal's turn to take CLCC to their targeted score of 200 and guess what ? Gopal(39) with huge sixes and glorious boundaries with a help of Bharat(10 not out) got CLCC to a 200 mark. At the end of 30 overs CLCC made 200/9.

It was a big total to chase for CCCC and it looked almost impossible for CCCC to break through Lions power bowling to a victory. Well it was there turn, but they lost there first wicket in form of a run out of an extra ordinary fielding by Chetan. Abhi struck hard when in his 2nd over he got Samir and Bharat back to the CCCC's camp. Greyson and Yeshpal worked hard to chase the huge total of 200 but got restricted by Gopal and Ani's extra ordinary bowling an a great spell by both this Lions. Well actually all the bowlers bowled well, but this two guys bowled very well and got Greyson in control and finally Greyson a fine batsman ended up giving wicket to Ani. As Greyson was playing very well and indeed hit some great shots. Well after the wickets of Greyson(41), CCCC @ 102 and yeshpal's(20), CCCC @ 106, it was all CLCC. Gopal came and wiped CCCC out as they managed to score 134 all out at the end of 27 overs.

Once again brilliant performance by LIONS, yes Parimal was our man of the match.
