Main Umpire: HPCC Leg Umpire: HPCC
Report:
It was a very nice morning as the ground was completly dry this
time, well when i say dry ground is for a reason, every time we play in High
Point the ground is always full of water. Well our team was at the field around
10:00 Am and so were the PACC and the Umpires from HPCC.
PACC won the toss and defenitely selected to field first, I would too as the out
field was dry and it would be easy to chase.
Anyway we were not worried but yes would like to get back to our winning track.
Well due to lots of grass on wicket it was really hard to play the balls as they
were coming to slow and low, but every once in a while a bounce.
It was slow start and every thing was going towards PACC favor. CLCC lost four
quick wickets, at one time the score ws 4/28 in 8 overs. Ashish And Gopal gave
some hope to CLCC by making a big 5th wicket partnership, outstanding batting by
this two players brought CLCC's total at the drink break at 15 overs 4/68, Good
game plan between Ashish and Gopal. After the break they scrored some nice runs
and they were about to start to play big Ashish got trapped by short ball
couldn't lift over the Gulley and got caught at his individual score of 40 and
team score 105/5. Abhi joined Gopal, but Gopal gave his wicket by hitting a high
shot at short mid on. He made superb 40. Parimal Joined Abhi they took sigles
here and there for over or two and Abhi couldn't take it anymore from PACC guys.
He started to smash the ball all over the field and made quick 30 and got caught
when he was going for a big hit. Last pair did really nice to hold there wicket
and complete the 30 overs and you know what they got some nice 15-20 runs and
didn't gave there wicket away. CLCC made 160 for 9 in 30 overs. First half
turned out good for CLCC.
PACC Came to bat, Nice opening spell by fasters, Chetan Bowled Imran, PACC 1/7
in 2 over, Well Ashish gave another break when under pressure Jansheer trying to
hit the ball over the mid off and gave away a easy catch to Chetan. Pacc 2/15 in
7 overs. Well PACC decided to hold the wickets and they did and all of a sudden
Shami started to hit the sky high shots with some nice sixes. Abhi got him out
by bowling very smart bowling. Then it was a turn of spinners, Parimal and Mayur
started to implementing there experience and time to time gave CLCC wickets and
hardly gave any runs. PACC gave all the wickets at a score of 126. Great bowling
by Parimal 6-0-14-3 and Ashish 5-0-10-3.
Another team victory and my Man of the Match was Ashish who scored responsible
40 and took 3 wickets by giving only 10 runs. Good Job TEAM.
